CIN LANGSTON 

Cin Langston is busy checking off goals from her life list. After reaching her biggest goal of providing a safe and loving home to children who thought they would never have one, she moved on to her next big to-do: writing. She's been writing and blogging for just over three years now which has led her to The Simpleton - a place where she can use her "outside voice" when the world doesn't make sense. She is  currently writing three books; a dramedy of mother loss, a story of local adoption co-authored by her 11 year old daughter, and a documentary based on the study she is taking part in with her 15 year old son investigating the impact of raw foods on children with ADHD. She lives in Flint, Michigan with her Family and a stray dog named Hobo.

EDWARD XIAO 

Edward has been in love with writing since the day he was born. A columnist for an NSPA award-winning high school newspaper and a Digital Journalist for Digital Journal, he devotes much of his time to crafting compositions of the highest quality and caliber. Although relatively inexperienced, he hopes to gain a wider perspective on the world through his experiences in writing.

Elliot is a freelance journalist and writer who has worked across the Gulf, Middle East, Europe, Asia and the Americas. G is a 28-year-old chick from Arizona, USA. She has a degree in Journalism and Photography but is currently focused on her 3-year backpacking trip through Asia where riding elephants, looking at temples and soaking up the sun on the beach takes priority. HALLEY METCALFE

Debuting in the comedy world at the age of 18, Halley has worked with some of the country’s best comedians and has performed in five Melbourne International Comedy Festivals and the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Halley is also a performer in the high school safe sex show, The Condom Dialogues. This allows Halley to combine two of her passions, comedy and secondary school teaching, to travel to schools in and around Melbourne teaching teenage girls about safe sex.

In 2005-2006 Halley and fellow comedian Alison Bice hosted Syn907's popular Saturday night radio show 'Midnight Snack'.

Halley has appeared on Channel 31’s Champagne Comedy more times then she would like to admit (receiving Champagne Comedy’s 2005 ‘Golden Stomm’ award for most up and coming comedian on the Melbourne Comedy Circuit) as well as the Channel 31 programs, ‘It Could Be Worse’  and ‘The Comic Box’. â€¨Halley can be seen onstage performing in the sketch/stand-up show ‘The Hipster Resistance Variety Hour’ in this years’ Melbourne International Comedy Festival in April.

JAIYANT CAVALE 

Jaiyant Cavale is a full time clinical psychology student at Amity University, India. He is interning at the Department of Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences, Max Health Care, New Delhi, which would lead to licensure in India. He is also a writer and a blogger, and works towards creating a unique space for alternative music, art, literature and movies on an online magazine 'The Fiendish', along with a friend. Apart from listening to alternative music, he spends his free time writing fiction/non-fiction, socializing, reading literature, and clubbing.

JOEL ISAACS

Joel Isaacs is the definition of a film addict. He can be seen (in Wichita Kansas) at all times sitting in front of his television, at the local movie theater, or traveling to the nearest film festivals. He might sound like a lazy couch potato, but he does run on the treadmill in front of the TV and he has been known to pump out quite a few sets of push-ups during the commercials and or trailers. He makes it a point to shake his film addiction regularly to focus on his five adopted children and his lovely wife. He just finished his first screenplay and has dreams of one day seeing it all the way through to a completed film. Ahaiwe Ikenna Joshua, a Nigerian by birth, is 21 years of age and has spent 19 years of in life in Nigeria but left in 2009 to further his education. He has just completed a professional course in Aquaculture and is now moving into Information Technology for a B.Sc.

Ren Wan is a freelance writer from Hong Kong with experience working for numerous reputable publications under her belt. Almost skeptical towards reality, she believes better wisdom starts with rethinking the norm. Ren is particularly into environmental, social and community issues.

Richard Shrubb is a freelance writer, publishing for health practitioners’ titles in the UK. Sarah Masson is a twenty-four year old living in Melbourne, currently undertaking a creative writing course at university. Her interests include writing, reading, movies and music. Her goal is to become a professional writer and one day have her own book published.

Susan has been writing for the web for over ten years. She has a diploma in the library sciences but her true love is writing. Her goal is to become a full-time freelance writer before she retires. Susan developed an interest in politics while in high school but tries not to take it all too seriously.

Tanya has worked as a freelance blogger and journalist for news outlets in London (UK, not Ontario) and Sydney (Australia, not Nova Scotia). She now lives in Brisbane mainly for the cheap beer and sunny days.
