Man of Steel in Hindsight

A lot has happened since Man of Steel hit theaters in July. First, I wrote my review of the film, or stream of consciousness, rather. Then, it was announced that Ben Affleck would be playing Batman in the Superman/Batman team-up movie (which I alluded to in my “The Ideal Justice League” article). Then, of course, there was the Batfleck rebellion, where nerds wrote dirty tweets, blogs, and articles of disapproval toward the casting choice.

But now the film has come out on DVD, and a good portion of the heat has died down, allowing us to look at the film and look forward to future films with fresh eyes.

I believe at one point in my sporadic review I said humbly, “to be fair, the movie had many more plot holes than I have fingers, but that’s an entirely different article.”  Well, lucky me, as recent events have unfolded, someone wrote that article for me.
