Hall Pass Movie Review

Starring funny man Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis, Hall Pass in a movie about learning to appreciate your marriage and accept your husband or wife for who they are.  After being granted a Hall Pass (a week off from marriage to do what they please) by their wives, best friends Rick (Wilson) and Fred (Sudeikis) go out on a mission to sleep with other women and have all sorts of fun acting single.  The women also experiment with some fun of their own.  The boys go through some very funny and interesting situations in their week off from marriage.  Will they sleep with other women or stay true to their wives?

Owen Wilson is always funny in movies and this movie is no exception.  Some parts of the film are crude and pretty silly but it was still easy and enjoyable to watch with a lot of  laughs to be had along the way.

It highlights the differences between the way that men and women think and act in front of the opposite sex and the lengths they will go to, to impress them.  The movie is all about reminding people to keep their married life exciting and spontaneous and to appreciate their life partners, in a funny and far from serious way.

If you think you’d enjoy a comedy with a whole lot of sex talk and boys being boys, then this is the perfect movie for you.

I give this movie 3 out of 5 stars.
